Community Programs & Education

At Laguna Beach Chamber Singers, we believe that choral music has the power to bring people together, inspire creativity, and strengthen our community. Beyond the concert stage, our educational initiatives and community partnerships create opportunities for singers of all ages to learn, collaborate, and grow.

Through partnerships with local schools, mentorship opportunities for emerging conductors, and engaging performances throughout Orange County, we are committed to making exceptional choral music accessible to the next generation of artists and audiences.

High School Choral Partnership

Our High School Choral Partnership connects young singers with experienced choral artists through collaborative performances, educational workshops, and hands-on musical instruction.

Under the direction of Artistic Director Dr. Ryan Brown, Director of Choral Activities at Chapman University, participating students have the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside the Laguna Beach Chamber Singers, gaining valuable experience in an advanced ensemble setting.

Building on our collaboration with Laguna Hills High School, this initiative seeks to expand partnerships with neighboring schools throughout Orange County. Students benefit from specialized instruction in vocal technique, sight-reading, musicianship, and ensemble performance, while developing the confidence and artistic skills that support lifelong musical participation.

The program brings together students, educators, and community musicians through shared rehearsals, workshops, and an annual collaborative concert, demonstrating the power of music to connect generations.
