Season XII begins with Breathstrokes, an immersive collaboration inspired by Laguna Beach artist Kim Manfredi and presented as part of the city’s Art + Nature celebration. Through music reflecting the colors, textures, and movement of the natural world, the program explores the connection between visual art, sound, and nature.

Let All the World Sing brings together Laguna Beach Chamber Singers and Trinity Presbyterian Church’s Chamber Choir for an afternoon of sacred masterworks. Dr. Steve Kim leads Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs, featuring baritone Dr. Ryan Brown, followed by Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore, conducted by Dr. Brown. The program celebrates the power of shared voices and musical tradition across generations.

Season XII concludes with Femina, LBCS’s annual Mother’s Day weekend celebration of women in the choral arts. Featuring music by women composers, a local high school treble choir, and participants in the inaugural Female & Non-Binary Conducting Scholars Program, the concert celebrates artistic leadership while creating opportunities for the next generation of choral musicians.
